Aims and how the networking works

We aim to bring interesting and hard-working artists and producers from around Australia together from the major 2D Animation, and 3D production studio’s, to learn from each other and network together. We will have small breakout rooms for networking before and after the event. We will also have a networking with guide contact details.

12field Animation specialise in combining traditional skills with the latest technology to create high quality 2D animated content. There current projects include the second season of the animated children’s comedy series The Strange Chores, created by Daley Pearson and Charlie Aspinwall (Ludo Studio) for the ABC, as well as Season 3 of Little J & Big Cuz (created by Tony Thorne and Ned Lander) for NITV and ABC. Earlier projects include The Flamin’ Thongs, and two seasons of Dogstar, as well as animation for MTV’s Greatest Party Stories Ever. In 2019, 12field worked with SMG Studio providing Art Direction and Production Design for the game No Way Home for Apple Arcade. 12field.com.au

Scott Vanden Bosch - Director at 12field : He is the Supervising Director & Art Director on The Strange Chores Season 1 and 2 and was the Art Director of the Apple Arcade Game No Way Home. Linkedin

Canaan Mendelsohn - Character Animator : Starting out on Dogstar & LJ and Big Cuz. He was the Supervising Animator on Nate is Late and has been the Animation Director on The Strange Chores. Linkedin

Lavanya Naidu : Head Of Design : She has worked with Otataa, Cartoon Network, Google, Duckbill Books, Penguin and Randomhouse, she is currently Head of Design on The Strange Chores. Linkedin

Bradley Jordan - Rigging Supervisor : He’s created rigs for Goo Jit Zu, Spongo, Fuz & Jalapena, worked with Kapow Pictures and now is Head of Rigging Season 2 of The Strange Chores. Linkedin

Matthew has over 20 years experience working as a motion designer,

animator & creative director in the commercial and creative industries.

About the discussion night

You are invited to join us in a small, intimate and private discussion night. We have invited some of the best and most interesting studios, producers, co-ordinators, freelancers and artists to come together. The aim of the night is to bring together colleagues from the 2D & 3D Animation production disciplines for an open and friendly chat over a beer or glass of wine, so we can network and learn from one another.
